My wife and I were traveling through California and we decided to stop at a friends house to say hi and hang out a bit. My friend, being the generous host, offered me (only me, not my wife) a snack... I agreed and she brought me a sandwich... consisting of white bread, mustard and blueberries. I asked what on earth it was, and she said, "it's the next big thing. You'll love it..." I, in fact, did love it. My wife, never having any alcohol before, asked my friend for some "fire whiskey". I asked my wife if she was sure she wanted her first drink to be fire whiskey, but she was determined. My friend, unfortunately was fresh out, but told us where we could go for a great drink. We then said our goodbyes and my wife and I started leaving to go find this hip place for a drink, not before stepping on a whole bunch of thomas the train toys, making my friends son cry and getting mustard all over my shirt
This dream may be interpreted as follows:
The dream may represent your desire to explore new things and try out new experiences. You and your wife are on a journey, which represents your journey together in life. The friend's house that you stopped at represents a place of comfort and familiarity. Your friend's offering you a sandwich with unusual ingredients is a sign to you that you should be open-minded about trying new things.
Your wife's desire to try "fire whiskey" may symbolize a thirst for adventure, but her inexperience with alcohol suggests that you may need to help and support her as she tries new things. The lack of "fire whiskey" and the subsequent search for a great drink may symbolize your desire for a new experience, but also your willingness to roll with the punches when things do not go as planned.
The Thomas the Train toys that you stepped on and the mustard on your shirt may indicate some minor obstacles or setbacks that you may encounter along the way. Overall, the dream indicates that you and your wife are ready to explore new things and find adventure, even if it means stepping outside your comfort zone and dealing with some unexpected surprises.
